A brand with a background, Réard Paris has decades of history. Unveiling his swimsuit creation poolside in 1946, the forward thinker Louis Réard, quickly made an impression with his itsy tiny invention – the bikini. What was essentially a way to support and encourage the continuation of women’s post-war independence, the bikini became the swimwear style to turn heads. Not only did the daring two-piece push boundaries, but it was a sartorial expression of the strong and liberated mood felt by many women at the time...
